The Youshiko YC9387(T) is a professional WiFi weather station with a colour LCD display and an integrated 5-in-1 outdoor sensor (YC1130). Monitor wind speed, wind direction, rainfall, outdoor temperature and humidity, alongside indoor temperature, indoor humidity and barometric pressure readings.
WiFi connectivity lets you publish your local weather readings to Weather Underground and Weathercloud, so you can view uploaded data from a phone, tablet or computer with an internet connection. The console also provides internet time synchronisation, weather forecast icons, moon phase, historical records and customisable weather alerts.
The YC9387(T) combines local weather monitoring with online access. Check conditions on the console at home, then view uploaded readings through Weather Underground or Weathercloud when you are away.
For gardeners, homeowners and weather enthusiasts, the outdoor sensor provides readings from your own location rather than relying solely on regional forecasts. Optional YC80 sensors extend temperature and humidity monitoring to additional rooms or other suitable locations.
The YC1130 combines a temperature and humidity sensor, wind speed cups, wind direction vane and rain gauge in one outdoor unit. It transmits readings wirelessly to the console, with wind updates every 12 seconds and temperature, humidity and rainfall updates every 24 seconds.
The outdoor sensor uses 3 × AA batteries, which are not included. Supplied mounting brackets help you install the unit in a suitable outdoor position. Follow the manual's placement guidance to obtain representative readings.
Connect the console to your 2.4 GHz WiFi network and configure Weather Underground or Weathercloud upload details through the setup interface. Once configured, uploaded readings can be viewed using those platforms from an internet-connected device.
The clock uses internet time synchronisation rather than an MSF radio time signal. A time-zone adjustment from −12 to +12 hours is available.
Set upper and lower limits for indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, together with alerts for rainfall, average wind speed and a drop in barometric pressure over the previous 30 minutes. Reaching a configured limit triggers an audible indication and display icons.
The clock alarm includes a five-minute snooze function. When enabled, the ice pre-alarm activates the alarm 30 minutes earlier if the outdoor temperature is below −3°C.
Review maximum and minimum readings with timestamps, along with hourly records for the past 24 hours. Recorded information includes temperature, humidity, feels-like temperature, wind chill, dew point, heat index and pressure, with maximum records for average wind speed, gusts and rainfall.
The web interface provides access to calibration settings for measured variables and firmware updates. Signal-strength, WiFi and low-battery indicators help you keep track of the system's connection and power status.
