A weather station sensor is the wireless outdoor (or additional indoor) unit that sends readings to your Youshiko weather station's display. If your original sensor has stopped transmitting, been lost, or was damaged by weather, buying the correct replacement gets your existing display working again without replacing the whole station. You can also add extra sensors to monitor a second or third location, such as a greenhouse, garage or garden shed.
Sensors are model-specific: a 7-in-1 sensor built for the YC9389 will not pair correctly with a 5-in-1 station like the YC9465, and the wireless temperature/humidity sensors are each matched to a particular console. Check your weather station's model number, printed on the back of the console or in your original instruction manual, and match it against the compatible models listed on each sensor's product page before ordering.
Insert fresh batteries into the new sensor first, then power on your console so it can search for and pair with the signal.
