We purchased 4 of these thermometers for fridges and freezers. WE checked their calibration against each other and by reference to a professional electronic thermometer. The readings were accurate to within about 0.2 degrees C. The dispay is large, and clearly visible without removing the units from the refrigerator. This is important, because the fridge temperature rises rapidly when the door is opened.
