Radio Controlled Timekeeping

This extra large digital wall clock is constantly receiving the MSF UK and Ireland atomic clock timing signal, so it always shows the correct time and you never have to adjust it. It changes automatically for spring and autumn and checks the time automatically, with an accuracy of 1 second in 10 million years.

MSF is transmitted on 60 kHz from Cumbria and carries a date and time code that radio controlled products use to set themselves. The signal is controlled by atomic clocks and kept in step with the national time maintained by the National Physical Laboratory (NPL).

Digital Display & Functions

The extra large LCD shows hours, minutes and seconds in a 12/24 hour format, with the day of the week, month and year. As a large display digital clock with temperature, it also shows the indoor temperature in Centigrade or Fahrenheit. Two alarms with snooze are built in, and the clock can be mounted on a wall or stood on a table. The silent display means no ticking.
