This black radio controlled wall clock is a 25cm (10 inch) easy to read clock with bold black numbers and hands on a white dial, a black plastic frame and a clear glass lens. It receives the UK MSF radio signal, so it sets itself and changes for spring and autumn without any attention.
The clock syncs to the UK MSF atomic clock signal, a time and date code broadcast from Cumbria, and re-checks the time automatically. It is a practical radio controlled clock for the UK because it never needs setting by hand, and it stays in step with UK time through the year.
The signal also tells the clock when British Summer Time begins and ends, so spring and autumn changes happen on their own. Reception can vary from room to room, and a new clock may take a few minutes to find the signal when first installed.
The black frame and black numbers against a white dial give a bold classic look with strong contrast, so the time can be read quickly from a distance. It is a good fit for busy spaces where quick time checks matter.
