The Youshiko radio controlled wall clock in silver has a 25cm (10 inch) face with a clean dial, bold black numbers and black and red hands, set in a silver plastic frame under a clear glass lens. It is the official UK & Ireland MSF version, so there is no manual setting and no resetting at the spring and autumn clock changes.
This UK radio controlled clock picks up the MSF atomic clock signal broadcast from Cumbria, a time and date code that it uses to set the correct time and to check it automatically. As a result it keeps accurate time without the winding, resetting or drifting you get with a standard battery clock.
The same signal carries the daylight saving change, so the clock adjusts itself for British Summer Time. Reception can vary from room to room, and a new clock may take a few minutes to find the signal.
The clean dial and bold numbers are easy to read from a distance. The silver frame gives this analogue radio controlled wall clock a modern look that fits a wide range of decor.
