Seems good, especially for the price of about £30. My only concern so far is that the LCD element seems quite fragile, very sensitive to touch, so I don't think using the alarm feature is a good idea since it requires handling the clock, and could lead to damage, especially if you're as clumsy as I am. Thankfully, other than changes of battery which are probably rarely needed, it seems otherwise very much set-and-forget, so as long as it has good reception for receiving radio updates of the time, I'm hoping it could last a lifetime.
The LCD seems very visible even in low light, unless you're sitting very close to it, and significantly below it, with a viewing angle of perhaps 15 degrees from the wall. But honestly, not really a problem.
Unlike analogue radio-time clocks, it's certainly silent, and probably uses less battery. The advantage of an analog-handed clock is it would probably be visible at even more extreme angles, but then you'd sacrifice all the other information that the LCD gives such as temperature and date.
Would definitely recommend.
