A compact 20cm (8 inch) UK radio controlled clock in a silver aluminium frame with a clear glass lens. Its white dial with black numbers and black hands is easy to read, and as the official UK & Ireland MSF version it sets itself and changes automatically for spring and autumn.
This radio controlled clock receives the UK MSF time signal, a time and date code broadcast from Cumbria and controlled by atomic clocks. It sets itself from the signal and re-checks the time automatically, so it stays accurate with no manual setting.
The signal also tells the clock when British Summer Time starts and ends, so it follows the clock changes on its own. Reception can vary from room to room, and a new clock may take a few minutes to find the signal when you first set it up.
The 8 inch analogue face keeps things simple: black numbers and hands on a white dial under a clear glass lens, framed in silver aluminium. It is a good choice where you want an accurate clock that does not take up much wall space.
