This white metal radio controlled wall clock pairs a durable white metal case with a clear glass lens and a 30cm (12 inch) face. It is a self setting wall clock that receives the UK MSF radio signal, so the time and the spring and autumn clock changes look after themselves.
This UK radio controlled clock locks on to the MSF signal, a 60 kHz time and date code broadcast from Cumbria for the National Physical Laboratory and controlled by atomic clocks. It uses the signal to set itself and to re-check the time automatically, so there is no need to adjust the time manually.
The signal also carries the clock change, so the clock moves between GMT and British Summer Time on its own, which suits busy households and offices. Reception can vary from room to room, and a new clock may need a few minutes to find the signal when first installed.
The white dial carries easy to read black and red numbers and hands, with a 12/24 hour dial. The white metal case gives this analogue radio controlled wall clock a clean, modern look that fits most decor styles. It hangs on any wall and runs on a single AA battery that is simple to replace.
