The Youshiko YC8056 is a silent LCD radio controlled digital wall clock in black, the official UK and Ireland version. It receives the MSF atomic clock signal to set itself automatically, and shows the day, date, month and year in full digits with the indoor temperature and humidity.
This UK radio controlled digital wall clock is constantly receiving the MSF atomic clock timing signal from Cumbria, so it sets itself and always shows the correct time without manual adjustment. It changes automatically for spring and autumn and checks the time automatically, with an accuracy of 1 second in 10 million years.
MSF is transmitted on 60 kHz and carries a date and time code that radio controlled products use to set themselves. The signal is controlled by atomic clocks and managed by the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), which oversees UK timekeeping.
The large, clear display shows the time in a 12/24 hour format, with the date, month, year and day of the week in full digits. As a digital wall clock with temperature and humidity, it shows the indoor temperature in Centigrade or Fahrenheit together with the humidity level. The display area measures 19.1 x 16.7 cm.
This clock is available in two colours, black and white. You are viewing the black version.
Use the attached stand to place the clock on a table, or mount it on the wall.
