The Youshiko YC740 is an MSF radio controlled alarm clock with 4 independent alarms and a smart auto backlight. It receives the UK atomic time signal so the time sets itself and changes automatically for spring and autumn, and it shows the weekday, date and indoor temperature.
This radio controlled alarm clock receives the MSF UK atomic clock timing signal broadcast from Cumbria for the National Physical Laboratory. It checks the time automatically and keeps it accurate to within 1 second, with automatic BST and GMT changes and no manual adjustment.
For the best reception, place the clock on a bedside table with a clear position for the signal.
With four separate alarms, one clock can cover different routines, such as a weekday wake-up, a weekend morning, a partner's different schedule, or an appointment reminder. This makes it a practical bedside clock for couples, families, shift workers and busy households.
The light sensor detects the brightness of the room. In a dark room the backlight comes on when you glance at the clock and then fades, so it does not disturb your sleep. In daylight the display stays clearly visible without the backlight.
